Our Staff

There is a certain level of education and training that every security officer needs in order to be successful. We don’t believe in hiring a "warm body" off the street, providing them with a uniform, and sending them out to protect your property. Our security officers must first meet the criteria of having had prior law enforcement, military or security experience before being considered for employment.

After being hired, all officers must complete a rigorous training curriculum. Here are just a few areas covered in our curriculum:

~ Verbal approach

~ Basic self-defense techniques

~ Handcuffing techniques

~ Aerosal Weapons (OC) training

~ State and local law awareness

~ Security liability and client protection

~ Firearms training and qualifications (for armedofficers)

~ Certified in CPR, First Aid, AED

Our Leadership

TPS is lead by Mr. Phillip Tindley. Mr. Tindley has been a mainstay in the private security industry for over 20 years. Upon completing a career as a federal law enforcement officer Mr. Tindley formed  Tindley Protective Services. Drawing upon a network developed during his federal career, Mr. Tindley has amassed a National team of highly skilled professionals. This network of current and former federal, state and local law enforcement officers and military personnel provides a unique ability to deliver when others cannot.
